The waste in the framework of a sustainable management as a chance for development for small urban and rural communities. It is under this pivotal idea that the Technical Day on waste management organised by the LANDCARE MED Project on the 21st of December at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was developed.
On November, the 6th in Tunis, at the premises of the Hotel El Mouradi, Gammarth, the 1st capitalization seminar of Tunisian Experiences in ENPI CBC MED projects was held.

On April 15 in Cagliari, at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Engineering, was held the 1st Regional capitalization event of ENPI CBC MED projects. The initiative aimed at creating a dialogue between all Sardinian actors involved in projects funded under ENPI CBC MED Programme.
The idea that urban and rural waste are not a problem but rather an opportunity for growth for local communities, something society can take advantage of. This is the concept behind the LANDCARE MED conferences held in Lebanon the 20 and 21 of November.
